Natural Light Shoot With Stepanie

I wanted to do a 'sun drenched summer shoot' with a little bit of a Boho vibe. The model for this shoot, Stephanie E, has an amazing face and I really wanted to capture it with natural light. I am shooting into the sun, as it is setting. I am using a Canon 550D and a Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 XR Di II Lens, wide open at f2.8, ISO 100 and shutter speed around 200. I didn't use any fill flash or light modifier for this, although I did have a reflector and two spedlights with me. It just turned out we didn't need them

I really wanted to capture the summer vibe, and so I wanted the light shine through her hair and be really warm. It actually cast TOO much red on her face, and I had to quite a bit of color correction in post processing to get the tones I wanted. I am including this one with that red cast on her face, so you can see what I mean.

This next one is my favorite of the series, although the one at the top of the page is right up there.

If there is any interest, I would be glad to walk through my post process editing workflow.
